Overview

Melody was once a magnet for misfortune. Her luck seemed to turn around, however, after a fateful online encounter landed her a chance position working as the personal assistant to wealthy heiress and reclusive, paranoid technocrat, Alexandra Khuen.


After several difficult months at her new post, she finally wondered if she had found her true place in the world, and maybe if she was falling in love. As fate would dictate, however, her personal feelings would be set aside in order to make room for some unexpected guests: Esther, her best friend, Myra, a lascivious co-worker, and Evangeline, a mysterious woman from another world.


No longer anxious about where she will live or when she can afford her next meal, Melody now spends her days anxious about whether she can actually prevent her new employer from ushering in the technological apocalypse.​
