Mod: Complex Breeding for Dummies

Description:
The idea is that Complex Breeding by guyverek is a long walkthrough of the game with lots of things to do in the late game when you're past day 50.
The CB for Dummies mod is meant more for Complex Breeding where the early game is harder, but once you stabilize you can get to the finish line quickly. Everything is currently hardcoded, but I would like to be able to customize (similar to the ChaoticMarkets mod) so that the player can make the game as difficult as they want and try to overcome their own challenge. Thus, the mod is geared towards shorter runs.
For this reason, many things have been changed so that they work similarly to the unmodded game, but still retain the new features and views added by CB.

Here's a list of things that have changed to make short runs more challenging early on:
Essence progression that starts slow but builds up quickly:
Change trait inheritance to be additive again (I think a bit of randomness would be nicer, but for this simple mod I didn't try to find good values and just chose 100% additive chance of inheritance).
Make the early game harder by starting it with a negative value
